I have been preparing for this day for several months. The beginning of riding 300 miles in 30 days. And as I planned I rode about 10 miles. If I keep that up the math will work out. Last year I announced that I would be creating a team of riders and recruiting friends and family to be on it. To my delight 5 have stepped up and accepted the challenge. Together we hope to raise over $5000 to fight childhood cancer. Palmer Ann Bliss (sister) rode in the Great Cycle Challenge last year and is riding again this year. She plans on riding 200 miles around the scenic island of Saint Simon's Island, Georgia. She has almost reached her goal of $800!
